Hop off the Journey Through Hallowed Ground Byway to enjoy Frederick Festival of the Arts, June 3-5. Drive through Mountain Maryland and see artist interpretations of the landscape during Mountain Maryland Plein Air, June 8-12 in Cumberland. Or take the Cape to Cape Byway and stop in Ocean City June 25-26 for Art’s Alive. There’s an abundance of art events around Maryland on and off the byways.

Indulge with brilliant bites from Garrett County’s best chefs and most popular dining establishments during Taste of Garrett, June 26.

Outdoor music events turn up the volume this month. Western Maryland Blues Fest, June 2-5 in Hagerstown presents music from national, regional and local performers. Enjoy jazz and blues on the streets of one of America’s coolest small towns as Berlin’s Jazz and Blues Bash begins on June 4. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for the City Dock Serenade, an evening of stories, songs and a Chesapeake Bay sunset at Crisfield’s City Dock, June 4.
