Hollywood Comes to Baltimore for the 20th Annual Maryland Film Festival

After receiving more than 35,000 submissions, the selections have been made, and the Maryland Film Festival is rolling out the red carpet. Now featuring screenings in four locations, including the beautifully renovated SNF Parkway Theatre, catch premieres, features, shorts, and filmmaker Q&As. For details, visitmaryland.org.

Let’s Go to Pimlico for Preakness

It’s Triple Crown time, and Maryland is showing off. The breathtakingly beautiful Preakness Balloon Festival (May 13) starts things off on a high note. The fillies show their stuff during Black-Eyed Susan Day (May 18). And the 143rd running of the thrilling Preakness Stakes (May 19), the second jewel of the cherished Triple Crown, will have the eyes of the world on Baltimore. This year’s InfieldFest is headlined by Malone and Odesza, so there’s something for everyone at this Maryland tradition. For all the info, visit our website.
