Labor Day in Maryland means another chance to party! So whether you love skipjack races, custom car shows, State Fair fun, or even watching jousting with the knights of the Maryland Renaissance Festival, we’ve got the 411 on Labor Day fun. Or, get out and do those things you’ve been meaning to do all summer. Take the kids fishing. Learn to stand-up-paddleboard (SUP, for the cool kids...). Scream your head off with Superman and Wonder Woman at Six Flags America. Get out to The Yard and root for the Orioles. Finish off your ‘Baseball & Brews’ scorecard, or just find your sandy sweet spot on the Maryland beach of your choice. We’ve put the list together. Now you just have to find your fave!

September’s Summer Send-off

The water is still warm, the sun is still shining, and Maryland is definitely the place to be in September. With the kids out of school until after Labor Day, you can enjoy a longer summer. The month kicks off with Labor Day fun and keeps it going straight through to Sunfest in OC. Check out these great suggestions for water parks, beaches, Orioles Magic and more!

Fantastic Fairs & Festivals

It’s fair season, that magical time of year again when Maryland’s counties roll out the roller coasters, gussy up their prize pigs, and search for exciting new foods to fry on a stick. Kick off the month with the Maryland State Fair. Then every weekend in September our counties will be celebrating with their fairs — why not try to hit them all? All that, plus amazing events like Baltimore’s Ukranian Festival, the Deep Creek Arts Festival, and the spectacular Madonnari sidewalk chalk art show in Baltimore’s Little Italy. Check out our County Fair page to plan your September adventure.
