Commemorate Black History Month

Maryland is home to civil rights pioneers and freedom fighters such as Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Justice Thurgood Marshall, and more-- there is so much to see, do, and learn in Maryland all month long. Look for events at the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center on the Eastern Shore, the Banneker-Douglass Museum in Annapolis, Baltimore’s Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture, Great Blacks in Wax Museum, and Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park, as well as the newly relocated Doleman Black Heritage Museum in Hagerstown or at the Maryland State House in Annapolis as new statues of Tubman and Douglass are unveiled, with more events across the state. Raise a Glass to FeBREWary, Maryland’s Craft Beer Celebration

FeBREWary is Maryland’s month-long celebration of the Old Line State’s remarkable beer making tradition, and we’ve got events planned from the mountains to the sea. Enjoy special beer releases, such as Suffragette Stout—a special collaborative micro-brew created in honor of the 100th anniversary of women earning the right to vote.
