Enjoy Winter Restaurant Weeks
in Frederick and Annapolis

Two of Maryland’s famous food capitals are putting their best plates forward with winter restaurant weeks. Enjoy prix fixe menus and amazing creations from the best chefs in the region as Annapolis Restaurant Week runs March 2-10 and Frederick Restaurant Week goes March 4-10. Plus, look for unique “Only in Maryland” food events like the Annapolis Oyster Roast & Sock Burning and Taste of Solomons right around the corner. Find out all the details at our Restaurant Weeks page.

Commemorate Black History Month

This year, Black History Month also marks the conclusion of the “Year of Frederick Douglass,” an American hero and Maryland icon. Home to civil rights pioneers and true freedom fighters such as Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Justice Thurgood Marshall, and more-- there is so much to see, do, and learn in Maryland all month long. Look for events at the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center on the Eastern Shore, the Banneker-Douglass Museum in Annapolis, and Baltimore’s Reginald F. Lewis Museum, Great Blacks in Wax Museum, and the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park to name just a few, with more events across the state. Find out where and when on our Black History Month page.
