Maryland is horse country, and there’s no better place or time to catch the best equine athletes on Earth than May in Maryland. From the 141st running of the Preakness Stakes (May 20) and Black-Eyed Susan Day (May 19) at historic Pimlico to thrilling cross-country steeplechases and point-to-points, it’s time for Maryland’s ponies to kick open the paddock gate and shine.
