Maryland's Amazing Seafood Festivals

Sample seafood all around the state. The 50th annual U.S. Oyster Festival is October 21-22 in St. Mary’s. Don’t miss the crowning of King Oyster, or the heated competition in the National Oyster Shucking Championships, plus seafood, beer tastings and more. But that’s not all! Tilghman Island Day is on October 21, and St. Michael’s throws its own OysterFest at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum on October 28, Or just head to your favorite nearby crabhouse or oyster bar for plump Maryland oysters and fat, late-season crabs. Raise a Glass to October Beers and Wines

Celebrate the best of Maryland’s expanding beer scene and wonderful wines with great events across the state. The Baltimore Craft Beer Festival and the Easton Beer Festival, both on October 7, are annual favorites. Salisbury’s Good Beer Festival, October 14-15 is an absolute blast.
